Introduction of Electric Buses in Srilanka

A decision to import 50 electric buses was by the the Sri Lanka Transport Board. In the budget proposal allocation was made to import and introduce electric buses in Srilanka.

The Sri Lanka Transport Board has taken steps to import 50 electric buses in the first instance, said Superintendent of Operations of the SLTB, T.M.R.T. Chandrasiri.
