New Application to Consider Complaints Regarding Missing Persons Made by Parents & Relatives

A discussion was held between missing persons’ family members and the President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday. President has instructed that a new application is provided for gathering complaints and requests of missing persons’ family members through district secretaries.

He said, that he had a thorough insight about the problems of all sections of the people and that the government including him is committed to resolve them openly and fairly.

Further he said,  that his government don’t have at least one secret camp. On this occasion, the current government does not run any secret camps and detain anyone in a camp.
