Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived at the bond Commission short while ago .

PM to Appear Before Bond Commission Today
The Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will arrive at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry, probing the controversial Central Bank Treasury Bonds issue today (20).
He was requested to appear today,  to testify before the commission.
Secretary to the Commission Sumathipala Udugamasooriya noted that the Premier’s evidence will be led by the Attorney General, Jayantha Jayasuriya, on several matters that had piqued the interests of the Commission wherein which the Premier’s name was mentioned.
Prior to this, the Premier was issued two questionnaires by the Commission requesting clarifications on certain matters. Following his initial response via an affidavit to the questionnaire, another questionnaire was submitted via the Attorney General’s Department.
