Legal Action against those selling coconut beyond fixed maximum retail price of Rs75/=

Sathosa Chairman T.M.K.P.Tennakone announced, that the cost of living committee which met on last Wednesday decided to fix the maximum retail price of a coconut in the market  at Rs 75.00  and to reduce the price of dhal to Rs 125 per kilo. A gazette notification giving legal effect will be issued shortly.

He further said, the cost of living committee has taken several other steps towards reducing the cost of living.
