Axe On Sujeeva Senasinghe ?

State Minister Sujeeva Senasinghe , who was somewhat disturbed and disgusted by the exposure of his telephone conversation with Perpetual Treasuries controversial Arjun Aloysius has made a critical comment about President Maithripala Sirisena in Parliament recently. President has responded mildly in a respectable manner in a public event held subsequently.

But the senior members of the government met the President and insisted that action should be taken against the state minister for making such a comment in parliament.

President is expected to discuss this matter with the Prime Minister prior to take any steps against Sujeeva Senasinghe. Sujeeva may lose his ministerial portfolio soon, government sources revealed.
