Weather Forecast For 28th November 2017

The low level atmospheric disturbance isstill persist in the vicinity of Sri Lanka.Showery and cloudy conditions over the island and surrounding sea areas will continue further.

Showers or thundershowers will occur in the most provinces of the island.

Fairly heavy falls (about 75-100mm) can be expected at some places particularly in the Western, Eastern, Uva, Southern and Sabaragamuwa provinces.

Fairly strong gusty winds (about 50 kmph) can be expected in the Northern, North-central, North-western and Eastern provinces.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
