President Maithreepala was denied entry to National Hospital?

A Colombo media has published a news item stating that President Maithreepala Sirisena was first denied entry in the first instance to enter National Hospital and permitted only after few minutes delay.

The story goes like this. President and his security staff came to the National Hospital, where a Buddhist Monk was admitted in the ward. President wanted to see him. As they came after visiting time, duty conscious security personnel refused entry despite security men told them that President Maithreepala Sirisena is inside the vehicle. They didn’t belief them. It is only after the president lowered the windscreen and waved his hand; they opened the gate and apologized to him.

Same Colombo media reported that an investigation had been ordered to investigate the incident.
