Jaffna University Student Factions Clash on Prabhakaran’s Birthday

Two student groups of the Jaffna University clashed with each other over a student group opposed certain individuals from celebrating the birthday of Velupillai Prabhakaran within campus premises.  The Faculty of Management and Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of Jaffna have been temporarily closed due to this brawl. University administration confirmed that all students residing in campus dormitories have been asked to leave the premises within the course of the day.
