Adverse Weather Badly Affects Restoration of Electricity Supply – CEB

Due to prevailing weather situation , the power distribution to several areas within the Colombo city limits, Matara, Galle, Badulla and Kalutara has been interrupted due as a result of broken telecommunication lines and towers, the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) reported.

The CEB stated that there will be a delay in restoring power due to practical difficulties faced by workers under prevailing weather condition.
