President Directs Deployment of Tri-Forces For Relief Work

President Maithripala Sirisena, who is currently on an official visit to South Korea, had directed the Disaster Management Minister and the Presidential Secretary this morning (30) ,to instruct officers concerned to deploy the tri-forces personnel in order to provide quick relief to all the people affected by the adverse weather conditions . He has also instructed to expedite search operations for missing fishermen, who had set out to sea and have lost contact due to the prevailing weather. He directed them during a telephone conversation he had with them.
