9 Players from Sri Lanka ODI Squad Called Back  From BIA at the  Last Minute?

Reports received states that 9 players from Sri Lanka ODI squad, scheduled to go to India to participate in the 3 cricket ODI matches were reported to have been called back from the Bandaranayke International Airport (BIA) at the eleventh hour.

Srilanka Cricket Officials have gone to the airport and stopped 9 of them from going to India to participate in the ODI, which starts on 10^th. Reason to call back was said to be that the Minister of Sports has not approved their participation in the ODI.

When SLC was contacted, they declined to give any official account or comments on this matter.
