Gotabhaya Appealed to All to Defeat New Constitution in Parliament

The former Secretary of Defence Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, while addressing an event in Galle stated that the proposed devolution of power is a mere mask to create a separate state within the country. Separate state will not solve the problems of the Tamil community.

Further, he stated that the country will face several administrative challenges, if the proposed new constitution is not defeated in parliament and invited all to defeat it.
