Regular Attendance & Efficiency of Public Officers Pave Way For Additional Remuneration

The Cabinet at its meeting held last week has considered and approved a proposal made by the Minister of Finance and Media to increase annual increment of government and semi government employees based on regular attendance and efficiency in discharging their duties.

Steps have been taken to implement the proposal as early as possible. Observers say, this step taken in the right direction will help to increase the efficiency of public officers and benefit them financially.
