Substandard Fuel Supply by a Few Filling Stations Under Probe.

The Secretary to the   Ministry of Petroleum Resources  Upali Maarasinghe says ,that steps have been taken to investigate the filling stations that issue substandard fuel to consumers. He further  said,  that investigations are being carried out about some  filling stations that were reportedly issuing substandard fuel in the recent past.

Officers have been appointed at the ministry level and they are working hard to identify and rectify the shortcomings that exist in the filling stations.
