Siddi Mohammed Farook Appointed as New Chairman of SLBC

Minister of Finance and Media Mangala Samaraweera has appointed Siddi Mohammed Farook as the new Chairman of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation with immediate effect . He made this appointment last evening. Farook is an old boy of Royal College, Colombo.

He replaces Sudarshana Gunawardena who currently functions as the Director General of Government Information.
