Mahinda Faction  to Contest LG Election Using ‘’ Flower Bud’’  &  ‘’ Boat ‘’ Symbols

Nomination for 93 local bodies have been called.  Srilanka Podujana Peramuna is contesting in 84 local councils under ”Flower Bud”  symbol.

Mahinda faction is contesting in 7 local council in the east using  ”boat” symbol.  In addition they will contest the Beruwella and Bandarawella town councils as  independent candidates.

Srilanka Podujana Peramuna, National Freedom Front, Lanka Samasamaja Party. Pivithuru Helaurumaya and few other freedom front parties will contest local government Election as a front.
