No Confidence Motion Against 3 Ministers Included in Order Paper on 11th December
No confidence motion against Faizer Musthapha was brought by 13 MPs of the Joint Opposition for adopting delaying tactics in conducting Local Government Election
The other no confidence motion was brought by 39 MPs of the Joint Opposition against Rajitha Senaratne alleging that the Minister of Health had deliberately avoided attending bribery and Corruption inquiries.
The third no confidence motion was against Former Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayke for concealing facts while presenting annual budget in Parliament.
All three no confidence motions had been included in the order paper of the Parliament on 11th December 2017.
Depending on the decision that will be taken at the party leaders meeting future action will be decided said, Secretary General of Parliament Dhammika Dasanayake.
