Deadline For LG Deposits Ends Today 

The time period granted to make deposits for 248 Local Governments ends at 12 noon today. The Elections Commission said the accepting of nominations for the 248 Local Governments will conclude by 12 noon  tomorrow.

Additional Elections Commissioner RML Ratnayake said, that  a considerable number of political parties and independent groups have made their deposits for the relevant Local Governments.
