18 Horses Imported For Police Horse Force?

Currently 40 horses are being used by 73 horse policemen. In order to strengthen the police horse force, additional 18 horses were ordered from France.

These four year old 18 horses costing Rs.30 Lakhs each are expected to be in Srilanka tomorrow (22), Police sources revealed this.
