62 Bags Of Fertilizer Recovered From The House Of A LG Election Candidate In Anuradhapura

Anuradhapura police on information received raided the house of a Srilanka Podujana  Party  local government candidate contesting in Wakalkada Ward election coming under   Kebitigollawa Pradehs Saba  and recovered 62 bags of fertilizer ready to be issued to certain farmers.

It is relevant to mention here that the husband of this candidate is working as an Agriculture Officer in the department of agriculture. These fertilizer bags were meant to be distributed by the Agricultural Centre to farmers were reported to have been  taken to her house for personal distribution eying votes.
