Weather Forecast For26th December 2017

Showery condition over the island (particularly in the Northern, North-Central and Eastern provinces) is expected to enhance to a certain extent.

Showers will occur at times in the Northern, Eastern, North-central and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota district.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at a several places elsewhere after 2.00pm.

Fairly heavy falls (about 75mm) can be expected in the Eastern province and in the Nuwara-Eliya, Ratnapura, Galle and Mataradistricts.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
