Polling Cards for the LG Election to Be Posted On 18th January

The Local Government Election polling cards will be posted on 18th of January and a special day to distribute polling cards to households has been declared on 28th of January, Elections Commission said.

Voters who do not receive polling cards by the 3rd of February have been advised to visit the respective Grama Niladhari Office or Post Office to obtain the polling cards.

The Elections Commission also noted that the gathering of information pertaining to those deceased, migrated overseas and other related matters will conclude on the 10th of January.
