Over 500,000 Eligible to Cast Postal Vote

 

Over half a million voters are eligible for postal voting during this election, Election Secretariat said.

The Elections Secretariat received 628,925 postal vote applications from public servants and 566,823 have been accepted. The majority of postal voters are from the Kurunegala District.

Teachers and police personnel who are eligible for postal voting can vote on August 3 while others will be able to cast their postal vote on August 5 and 6.
