Showers or thunder showers will occur at times in the Northern Province, fairly heavy falls (about 75 mm) can be expected at some places.

Several spells of showers will occur in Eastern, North-central and Uva provinces and Puttalam district.

Showers or thunder showers can be occur at few places elsewhere after 02.00 p.m.

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces during the morning.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
