Sainthamaruthu Jummah Masjith Administration Dissolved

Followed by complaint received by the Election Commissioner that political activities carried out in the Sainthamaruthu Masjidh, Election Commission has requested the director of the Department of Muslim Affairs to take alternate steps. In that letter it was stated that the Jummah Masjidh administration while permitting one political party to carry out its political activities prohibited other parties from doing so.

Having considered the request made by the Election Commission the Director of the Department of Muslim Affairs M.R.M.Malik dissolved the administration of the Jummah Masjidh and appointed an interim committee to run the Masjidh.
