Container Truck Driven By A Sleeping Driver  Veered -off Southern Expressway

As the driver of a container truck transporting wooden planks from Kadawatha – Pinnaduwa  fallen as sleep the container truck  veered off in Bandaragama Baddegoda area on the Southern Expressway this morning (15).

However, no casualties or injured were reported. But damage was caused to the protective fence  of the Southern Expressway.

As a results of this incident,  the transportation of Southern Expressway in Bandaragama- Baddegama was limited to one lane, as the container was not withdrawn from the place where the accident occurred.
