Admission of New Students to College of Education

The Chief Educational Commissioner K.S . Bandara said, that admission of new students to the College of Education will be made in March 2018. 32,000 applicants, who have qualified at the G.C.E A/L examination have applied for admission.  For the academic year of 2018  more students of the Information technology will be taken in. In the meantime students, who  follows training in this College of Education will be paid Rs 5,000 from this year . Earlier this payment was confined to Rs 3,500.

 It is relevant to mention that 8,500 students are undergoing training in 19 College of Education Institutes  located  island wide.
