CEB Employee’s Demonstration Today

Convener of the CEB Trade Union Front Ranjan Jeyalal said, that they have planned to stage a demonstration surrounding the CEB and the Ministry of Power today (17).

They stage this demonstration today demanding to stop salary increase granted to certain category of employees, which they regard as illegal and to register their protest against corruption and fraud. As all their efforts to resolve through negotiations with the authority has failed they were forced to take this trade union action , he said.
