Operation Two On Bond Report Commenced -President

While addressing a meeting at Elpitiya, President Maithripala Sirisena said, that he carried out operation one on bond scam report earlier and now started operation 2 by summoning Attorney General, Director General of the Bribery Commission and Governor of the Central bank and ordered them to take appropriate steps promptly against those responsible for the fraud identified in the report. He further said, in taken action against fraudsters, authorities should ignore the rank and file and the status or party of any one found responsible to ensure good governance.

Based on teachings of Lord Buddha, I have well advised the cabinet about  the results of committing sin, he added.
