North & South Korea to March Under Single Flag at Winter Olympics

North and South Korea have agreed to march together under a single “unified Korea” flag at next month’s Winter Olympics in the South.
Officials from both sides hope the games, which will be held just 50 miles south of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) will help ease tensions between the north’s isolated dictator and the south’s US-allied president.
The Games will begin on February 9 in Pyeongchang, South Korea, and the women’s ice-hockey squad will be the first combined Korean team for the Olympics, and the first unified team since their athletes played together for an international table-tennis championship and a youth soccer tournament in 1991.
