Introduction of English Subject in Grade 1 & 2 Classes….

In accordance with the concept of Minister of Education, Ahkila Viraj Kariyawasam, English to be taught as a subject from Grade 1 and Grade 2, said Commissioner of Educational Publication Padmini Nalika Weliwatta.

She said, steps have been taken to print text books and distribute to start teaching English this year. Objective is to develop the language skills of the students.
