Beginning to Cast Postal Votes From Today……

The Elections Commission says a faction of the eligible voters out of nearly 560,000 state employees will cast their ballots for the upcoming Local government Election today.

Deputy Election Commissioner M.M Mohammed said, the voting will take place at Sri Lankan Police stations, District Secretariats and at Election offices. He added another group will cast their votes on the 25th and 26th of this month.

M.M Mohammed stated the Elections Commissions had made all arrangements to facilitate the postal vote.
