Karu to Be the New Prime Minister?

If President Maithreepala is not taking steps to remove Ranil from Prime Minister’s post and take stern action against those found responsible for the Central Bank bond scamp, the joint opposition in association with few other MPs will attempt to bring  impeachment motion  against the President.

To avoid such possible impeachment motion, the President said to have held secret talks with Speaker Karu Jayasuriya to appoint him as the new Prime Minster, Presidential sources revealed.
