Puttalam Returning Officer Seeks Advise From EC Regarding Double Nomination

A women candidate nominated under the UNP list as well as in independent candidates list  bears the same national Identity card number and in the same address. Returning officer , who was unable to take any steps on closing nomination date , has now sought the advice of the National Election Commission as to what to do regarding this case. The election commission is yet to response.
