Voters Taking Mobile Phone Inside Polling Booths Prohibited

When an incident of postal voting  ballot paper was photocopied in a mobile phone and uploaded  in a social media was brought to the notice of the Chairman of the Election Commission, Mahinda Deshapriya, he said that taking mobile phones inside polling booths during voting is prohibited.  Further he said assistance of the Tri Forces  will be obtained to ensure security during the up coming Local government Election.
