Uva Tamil Schools Declared Out of Bounds to Politicians…..

The Provincial Tamil Medium Minister of Education Senthil Thondaman has declared out of bounds for politicians entering Tamil schools in the Uva Province from 7.30am till 1.30pm, while academic activities are being carried out .

Accordingly, a new circular has been issued banning politicians from entering Tamil schools in the Uva Province from 7.30am till 1.30pm.  However, Minister Thondaman emphasized the circular will not be valid during a disaster situation.

The circular also states if buildings or resources of a school are being used for other educational activities, prior permission needs to be obtained from the Uva Province Tamil Medium Education Ministry.
