Establishment of a Separate Unit at Srilanka Human Rights Commission to Accept Election Related Complaints..

Election Violence targeting candidates specially female candidates were recorded in the recent past. Hence, the Human Rights Commission of Srilanka  establishes a separate unit to accept  complaints related to upcoming local government election. This office will operate on 24 hour basis.
