Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Eastern and Uva provinces and in Hambantota and Polonnaruwa districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere after 2.00pm.

Fairly heavy falls (about75mm) can be expected at some places in the Eastern province and Mullathivu district.

There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
