Arjun Aloysius & Kasun Palisena Remanded

The owner of Perpetual Treasuries Limited Arjun Aloysius and the Chief Operating Officer of Perpetual Treasuries Kasun Palisena who were arrested yesterday  have been remanded till today.

 They were arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department and were questioned at the CID office.

They were remanded after being produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne last night and  they will be produced before Court once again this morning.

The CID named former Central Bank Governor Arjun Mahendran, Owner of Perpetual Treasuries Arjun Aloysius and the CEO Kasun Palisena, as suspects in the case.

Accordingly, Court ordered former Central Bank Governor Arjun Mahendran to appear before the CID on or before the 15th of this month.
