All Election Campaign Activities to Cease From 7th Midnight

The Elections Commission has announced all activities connected with the upcoming local government election should come to an end midnight Wednesday, February 7.

A total of 57, 252 candidates are contesting at the LG elections from 43 political parties and 222 independent groups for 341 Local Government institutions to elect 356 members.

Counting of vote is expected to be held at 13, 400 polling stations.
