Special Bus & Train Services on Account of LG Election…

In order to facilitate commuters travelling to their native places from their working locations to cast their votes, the SLTB and the Railway Department have arranged special bus and train services.

The Chairman of the National Transport commission H.Hemachchandra said that buses were deployed from private bus stand at Bastian Mawatha to distant places. Additional 200 buses were deployed in addition to number of buses normally scheduled. From today (9) additional 102 buses are deployed from Pettah bus stand to distant places.

Additional GM Wijeyasena said, that in addition to normal service additional train services will be arranged if the need arise.
