For ignoring Court order and obstructing  public movement during a demonstration, Convener of the Inter-University Student’s Federation (IUSF) Lahiru Weerasekara and Convener of the Inter-University Bhikku Federation (IUBF) Ven. Tempitiye Sugathananda Therowere arrested and remanded.

Inter-University Student’s Federation (IUSF) has planned to stage protest demonstration in front of Sri Jeyawardenapura University, Kelani University and in Mihintale city from 1200 hrs today demanding release of their comrades.
