“We are ready to provide security to more candidate if necessary” – EC MAKO

 

A meeting was held between representatives of Election Monitoring Organizations and the Election Commissioner (EC) at the Rajagiriya Election Secretariat yesterday.

PAFFEREL executive director Rohana Hettiarachchi said that at the meeting discussion had been held about matters pertaining to postal voting, providing further protection to election candidates as well as the use of loudspeakers at musical shows held parallel to candidate’s rallies.
