CEB Trade Union’s Protest Against Suspension Of Six Trade Union Leaders

Six trade union leaders suspended from their work by the Ceylon Electricity Board. The reason for this action for their alleged involvement in a recent trade union action. They are accused of holding the Chairman of the CEB as hostage inside his office room, last month.

The convener of the Electricity Board’s, combined trade union Ranjan Jayalal alliance said employees would launch a black flag protest starting from today (19) against this move.
