Maithree Protects Ranil- Mahinda  

The former President Mahinda Rajapaksa while answering a question raised by the journalist at while coming to attend parliament yesterday (19)  said, President Maithripala Sirisena is protecting Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe.

He said, it was part of a deal that continues between United National Party and President Sirisena.

He further said, Joint Opposition will seek the post of Opposition Leader and PM Ranil Wickramasinghe would remain in that post.
