Former Defence Secretary Gota filed a Revision petition in the court of Appeal

Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa filed a revision petition in the Court of Appeal today (23).

The revision petition has been filed to release him and other individuals from Avant Garde case currently investigated by the bribery commission.

This case was filed by the bribery commission for allegedly causing Rs.11.4 billion loss to the government by permitting Avant-Garde Maritime Services (Pvt) Ltd to maintain a floating armoury.
