University Exams Postponed Due to Non Academic Strike

Lectures at universities have been affected as a result of the strike carried out by University Non Academic Staff.

Exams of external students have also been postponed.

Vice Chancellor of the Peradeniya University, Professor Upul Dissanayake said that lectures of their university were also affected.

 This strike action was carried out based on several demands including the failure to pay agreed allowances, Co-Chairman of the University Trade Unions Joint Committee, Edward Malwaththage said.
