A Special Meeting Between MR & JO Parliamentarians

A special meeting has been called between the Joint Opposition (JO) Parliamentarians, the former President Mahinda Rajapaksa will take place today (6) at the Parliamentary complex will extensively discuss the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe that is expected to be filed in Parliament today, Deputy Chief Organizer of the Party Ranjith de Soyza said.

According to him 32 members of the Joint Opposition have signed the no-confidence motion, while several more are expected to give support.

Further he said that discussions will be held between those members of the United National Party and the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, who have openly defied the Prime Minister.
