All Schools in Kandy Administrative District  to Reopen Today

All schools in the Kandy Administrative District were closed due to the recent unrest in the island are scheduled to reopen today (12).

This decision was taken to reopen all schools due to the prevailing peaceful environment in Kandy, Chief Minister of the Central Province Sarath Ekanayake said

In the meantime special security is still in place in the Kandy district.
