5473 Teachers over 10 Years Service  to be Given Transfers…

The Education Ministry has said that 5473 teachers, who count more than10-years of service in the same school, are to be transferred to other schools. This category of teachers is teaching students from grade six to 11. They will be transferred as from May 2018.

The teacher transfer programme is being implemented in three phases; its first phase was put in place during the second half of last year.

The Ministry said that 2590 A/L teachers were transferred to National Schools in the first phase.
